This Privacy Policy describes how Harmony Technologies LLC ("Petit Panda", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our service available at app.petitpanda.io.

2. Data We Collect

We collect personal information in the following situations:

2.1 When you register and use the Service

  • First name, last name, email address
  • Password (stored in encrypted form)
  • Profile picture (if provided)
  • Billing information (processed by Stripe)
  • Account preferences and settings

2.2 Through connecting your social networks

When you connect your social accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube), we collect:

  • Profile identifiers and public account information
  • OAuth access tokens required to publish content
  • Engagement metrics (if you use the analytics features)

Before connecting a third-party account, we recommend that you review the privacy policy of the platform concerned.

2.3 Data collected automatically

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, timestamps
  • Usage data: features used, frequency of use, content generated

2.4 Through customer support

When you contact us, we retain the information you provide in order to handle your request.

YouTube API Services

PetitPanda uses the YouTube API Services to let you publish your videos to your own YouTube channel. By using these features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

PetitPanda's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy. You can review Google's Privacy Policy.

  • YouTube data we process: when you connect your YouTube channel, we access and store your channel's basic information (channel ID, channel name/handle, and profile picture) and the OAuth tokens required to upload videos on your behalf. This data is used only to display your connected channel and to publish the videos you explicitly create in PetitPanda to your own channel. We do not share this data with third parties (other than Google/YouTube to provide the feature), never sell it, and do not use it to train AI models.
  • Refresh and deletion: stored YouTube data is refreshed on each reconnection and deleted as soon as you disconnect your channel in Settings > Accounts or delete your PetitPanda account.

You can revoke PetitPanda's access to your YouTube/Google data at any time via your Google security settings at myaccount.google.com/connections or by disconnecting the channel in Settings > Accounts.

Using Petit Panda through ChatGPT (OpenAI)

Petit Panda offers an app accessible from ChatGPT, using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). When you use Petit Panda from ChatGPT, we only receive the specific information explicitly passed by the tool you invoke in your conversation (for example, the text of a post to schedule); we do not receive or request your full ChatGPT conversation history. The connection between ChatGPT and your Petit Panda account uses OAuth authentication: you explicitly authorize ChatGPT to act on your Petit Panda account, only for the actions you approve. You can revoke this access at any time from ChatGPT's app settings, or by deleting your Petit Panda account. OpenAI is not a processor of your Petit Panda data; your use of ChatGPT remains subject to OpenAI's own privacy policy.

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is used to:

  • Create and manage your user account
  • Provide the Service: AI content generation, scheduling, publishing to social networks, YouTube transcription
  • Process your payments and manage your subscription
  • Send you Service-related communications (updates, security alerts)
  • Analyze use of the Service to improve it and develop new features
  • Ensure the security of the Service and prevent fraud
  • Comply with our legal obligations

We do not use your data obtained through third-party APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of your data is based on:

  • Performance of the contract: to provide the Service (account creation, publishing, billing)
  • Consent: for non-essential cookies and marketing communications
  • Legitimate interest: to improve the Service, for security, and for fraud prevention
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable regulations

5. Data Sharing

Your personal information may be shared with the following trusted service providers, solely for the purpose of providing the Service:

  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication
  • Stripe — secure payment processing (we do not store your card details)
  • Vercel — web application hosting
  • Google (Gemini API) — AI content generation
  • Social platforms you connect — Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube: only the data necessary to publish your content, subject to each platform's own terms

These providers are contractually required to protect your data and to use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed to them. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Petit Panda, our users, or the public.

6. Data Transfers Outside the EU

As Harmony Technologies LLC is based in the United States, your data may be transferred to and stored outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or appropriate certification mechanisms, in accordance with the GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.

7. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as you actively use the Service. If you delete your account, your personal data will be erased within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is legally required (for example, billing data retained for 10 years in accordance with tax law).

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS)

  • Regular security monitoring and audits

No system is entirely secure. In the event of a data breach likely to affect your rights, we will notify you in accordance with applicable legal obligations.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to rectification: have your inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
